Megan Nugent is the Director Commercial and Partnerships within Homes NSW. Her role provides strategic commercial advice and leadership which supports the creation of partnerships to deliver new social and affordable housing in NSW.  She has a strong focus on delivering on the opportunities provided to Community Housing Providers under the Homes Direct Dealing Policy. Megan began her career in New Zealand and has a planning and commercial legal background and brings experience across numerous different jurisdictions, including 10 years in the UK working on large scale social housing regeneration schemes. She has experience across the public and private sectors including over 20 years in senior roles in state and local government focussing on planning outcomes to deliver housing. Megan prides herself on authentic leadership, embracing opportunities to support and develop her team and work towards outcome focused solutions.
